(Do I put the date on here.. Ah why not, last updated 3/09/2019)
My name is Kevin Loss, and I am a new blogger and process improvement student. We all have dreams to be somebody and mean something, and I’m no different.
I realized a few years ago that I have a passion for process improvement. The best part about process improvement is that there is no end to the topics available. My purpose of this site is to show you what I have learned. Hopefully, the things I share lead you to find a better way to do it yourself.
In 2017, I wanted to achieve a bucket list item. How about Japan? I backpacked alone 35 days, making my way from Tokyo, to Nagano, and so on. With this experience, I learned how to plan travel outside of the USA as it was my first experience leaving the country. I had learned a lot, but I’ve yet to find the best way to go about it.
In 2018, I wanted to face a fear. While heights never really bothered me, that feeling of falling always has. I thought, “well, I might as well jump off a plane.” I think the biggest freaky moment on my mind that day was if the guy behind me was going to remember to pull the chute. Inside, I was nervous as hell once I realized that I was entrusting my life to a guy I hadn’t even met. If he had a death wish I’d probably introduce myself to the ground for the last time. I’m still here though and I’d do it again.
During that same year, I wanted to create a website with content. Well, here it is. As you can tell I’m still working on it every chance I get. I admit I’m still struggling because I haven’t found that sweet balance of life and work.
This year, in 2019, I had a goal to step into the unknown. I left my job, sold my home, and left the people I saw on a daily basis. I took a deep breath and began a new road. I landed in Bozeman Montana working seasonally at Big Sky Montana Resort as a Hospitality Supervisor. In late April, I’ll be making my way to YellowStone National Park, in Tower Falls, Wyoming until September.
What will I do next?
